‘Distant Dreamer’ is designed to poetically visualize the human relationship to their perspectives in between natural and artificial spaces, seeing through the layers of shadows and traveling the depth of appearances. Due to the nature of sheer fabric, the highlighted spot appears to be opaque, and a shadowed spot appears to be transparent. The viewer on the both sides of the wall become visible when shadows from different directions overlaid. By experiencing the collision of shadows and the depth of visibility in this installation, the viewers could explore the walls ahead of us would open their windows when perspective directs to distant someone or something.
